Taking Energy Hub on the road

Our Energywise program is hitting the road in Tasmania with our new mobile classroom, the Energy Hub!

Greening Australia received funding from the Tasmanian Community Fund and Hobart City Council to set up the ‘tiny house’, which is chock-full of activities and practical demonstrations so students can wise up about the ever-evolving renewable energy scene here in Australia. Powered by a solar panel, the van is fully insulated, has LED lighting and solar-powered thermometers.

Join Greening Australia’s Education Strategist and Energywise program leader Nel Smit for a quick tour of the Energy Hub and some of its features.
