Greening Australia Community – Trees for Recovery

Be part of a hands-on nursery event to help us grow seedlings for bushfire recovery.

Thinning is an essential process in our tubestock production. After seeding, multiple plants come up per pot which compete for nutrients, space and light. To produce high quality seedlings we can use for re-vegetation planting, we need to thin them to one plant per pot. This fun social activity is a great opportunity to learn how Greening Australia grow some o four native species .Community volunteers play a vital role in producing native plants which underpin our landscape restoration activities. Ages 12 and up preferred.

Refreshment: Light dinner and mocktails will be provided

RSVP:  by 5pm Sunday, 20th February 2022.
