Celebrating NAIDOC week 2016

Aaron Chatfield passing on his knowledge to the next generation.

This NAIDOC week we celebrate the achievements of Aaron Chatfield.  Aaron is a Kamilaroi man who has grown up in the Yass and Canberra region.  Aaron is a leading hand for our bush crew in Canberra and helps to deliver restoration activities across the A.C.T and N.S.W region.

More recently, Aaron has already been involved in a number of cultural interpretation activities for schools and community groups.  Most notably, Aaron ran a workshop on traditional native plants and their uses to a group of 40 school students and A.C.T government employees at the national arboretum.   In this very special week we would like to thank and acknowledge the great contribution Aaron and all our indigenous employees give to our organisation.
