About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support delivery of Greening Australia’s marketing and communications activity, with a strong focus on digital content and channel execution.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day planning, production, publishing and optimisation of content across social media, website and email. You’ll be working on meaningful projects that contribute to real environmental outcomes.

You’ll work closely with the Senior Lead Marketing and Communications and Content Coordinator, contributing to campaigns and channel strategy while being accountable for execution and maintaining a consistently high standard of output.

It’s a dynamic environment where you’ll get exposure across campaigns, channels and stakeholders, and have the opportunity to build your capability quickly. This role suits someone who enjoys working at pace, is practical and solutions-focused, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Digital content and channels

  • Plan, create and deliver written, visual and video content across social, web and email
  • Manage scheduling, publishing and optimisation across platforms
  • Maintain a consistent and engaging presence across channels

Campaign and digital marketing support

  • Support delivery of paid social and digital campaigns
  • Contribute to campaign planning, storytelling and execution
  • Assist with development of campaign assets

Community Engagement

  • Manage social media engagement and respond to enquiries
  • Support communications through inboxes and digital channels
  • Assist with partner communications

Website and Content Management

  • Maintain and update website content
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience and performance

Supplier and Content Coordination

  • Coordinate photographers, videographers, designers and agencies
  • Support shoots and content production logistics
  • Ensure timely delivery of content

Brand and Quality

  • Maintain brand consistency across all outputs
  • Ensure high quality across written, visual and video content

Broader Support

  • Support campaigns, events and team priorities
  • Help improve processes, templates and ways of working
  • Provide guidance to interns or volunteers where needed

About You

Essential:

  • Experience managing social media platforms end-to-end
  • Strong content production skills (video, graphics, copy)
  • Confident using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Experience supporting digital campaigns (including paid social)
  • Strong copywriting skills with ability to adapt tone
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Practical, proactive and solutions-focused
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
  • Interest in environmental or sustainability work

Desirable:

  • SEO and Google Analytics experience
  • Google Ads or digital advertising platforms
  • CMS experience (e.g. WordPress)
  • CRM and email marketing platforms
  • Experience using AI tools for content and efficiency
