Greening Australia is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join us as Executive Director, People & Culture. This critical role will shape our organisational culture, lead strategic people initiatives, and ensure we attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent to deliver on our 2030 goals.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and as a key member of the Executive Team, the Executive Director, People & Culture will lead the strategic and operational agenda for People & Culture (P&C) and Work Health & Safety (WHS). This role will shape and embed a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture aligned with Greening Australia’s 2030 goals.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

    • Proven executive leadership experience in People & Culture within complex organisations, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
    • Expertise in HR strategy, organisational development, and change management.
    • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people initiatives with business goals.
    • Deep knowledge of employment legislation and WHS compliance.
    • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
    • A passion for conservation and sustainability aligned with Greening Australia’s mission.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline are essential.
