This in-depth guide explores the identification of native vegetation communities and fauna species of South Australia’s Western Eyre Peninsula.
Coastal Fauna and Habitats of the Western Eyre Peninsula highlights the majority of native species people are likely to encounter within this unique coastal environment.
Features of the book include full colour images, text and mapping of the major habitat types, animal, reptile and bird species in the one publication.
The guide was designed with community groups, students and landholders in mind. The idea was to simplify the process of identifying fauna and their habitats using easy to understand language and comprehensive colour photos.
It’s our hope that this exciting new book will be appreciated by all who care for the animals that live our environment and want to do something about conserving them.
We’re grateful to our sponsors the Australian Government, Government of South Australia Department of Environment, Water & Natural Resources and BP for supporting this publication.
Coastal Fauna and Habitats of the Western Eyre Peninsula will be distributed as a free resource to landholders, schools & community within the Eyre Peninsula region.
