If you live close to one of Canberra Southern Cross Club’s five venues, you can now grab a bite to eat or a drink whilst greening Australia.

Through their Community Rewards Program, the club is enabling their members to donate 10% of any drink or meal purchased to Greening Australia as their charity of choice.

The club began the rewards program in July 2015, as a way of giving back to the community.

In the last three months, Greening Australia has already received over $1000 in donations from club members.

Funds raised through the club support our Bridging the Gaps project, which provides native plants to landholders across the Canberra region to help improve habitat and biodiversity on their farms. The project is funded entirely through donations from local companies and partnerships such as these.

The seedlings are distributed to strategic parts of the region and to properties outside of Greening Australia project areas, where funding from other programs is unable to assist.

Since partnering with the Canberra Southern Cross Club more than 800 plants have been provided to local landholders.

We are extremely grateful to the Canberra Southern Cross Club for their support and encourage their members to consider us as their charity of choice when they next drop in.
