Celebrating 10 Years of Reef Aid – Webinar

A Decade of Action for the Great Barrier Reef

Join us as we celebrate 10 years of Greening Australia’s Reef Aid program, and explore its impact for people and nature across the Reef catchments, from Rockhampton to Cairns. Over the past decade, Reef Aid has brought together Traditional Owners, landholders, scientists, communities, businesses and governments to improve water quality, restore wetlands, riverbanks, and gullies, and help protect the Great Barrier Reef.

Hear from Dr Lynise Wearne (Greening Australia) and special guests Simon Kennedy (BirdLife Australia), Jamie Satani (Madjandji Aboriginal Corporation), Jacob Cassady (Mungalla Aboriginal Business Corporation), and landholders Franco and Frances Arri as they share insights from the field, lessons learned, and what the future holds for restoration in the Reef catchments. Explore how new approaches, science and on-ground experience have shaped restoration methodology across Reef Aid’s first decade. This webinar is both a celebration and a chance to look behind the scenes at the projects, partnerships and people that have shaped Reef Aid’s first decade, while reflecting on the knowledge and momentum being built for the years ahead.

We look forward to seeing you online!
