Wild Koala Day: Community Tree Planting Afternoon

Join us at Cook Park to celebrate one of Australia’s most iconic species! Campbelltown Council, Greening Australia and WWF Australia are working together to host a planting afternoon for Wild Koala Day. The aim is to help improve, protect and extend koala habitat in south west Sydney.

The community will be helping us plant 3,000 local trees, shrubs and grasses at Cook Park to improve a vital koala corridor. Cook Park is a key link between the vast Georges River wildlife corridor and Smiths Creek, which is Campbelltown’s largest urban bushland reserve.
