Come plant with us along Lockyer Creek!

Celebrate World Rivers Day by getting your hands dirty planting native seedlings with us! Join us as we help to restore habitat along Lockyer Creek.

• All planting equipment provided but BYO hat, sensible shoes and dress for the weather

This site will provide a habitat to native animals and provide erosion control along a critical part of Lockyer Creek. It’s all about creating wilder and healthier green spaces!

Getting there

The meeting point for this community event is at the Lockyer Valley Turf Club. There will be a short walk to the planting are. We encourage you to carpool, cycle or walk where possible.

What to bring?

Please wear a hat, long pants, gloves, enclosed shoes and bring along some drinking water to stay hydrated.
