About the role
The position will manage sales campaigns and generate new customers and sales for Greening Australia, a not-for-profit organization that also owns two commercial businesses – environmental markets company, Canopy, and native seed service business, Nindethana. This role will also support and maintain the existing customer base for the seed business.
In addition to sales and customer management, the role will also maintain the integrity of the seed inventory and the upkeep of the Seed Bank under the direction of the Operations Lead This includes contributing to the management of systems and processes for the national Seed business as well as supporting the seed testing program within agreed protocols.
The role will also assist with the scoping and delivery of existing customer orders by providing species selection, problem solving and advice, stock selection, quoting, procurement, inventory management, seed pre-treatments, cleaning, testing, order packaging, dispatch and invoicing. They will also contribute to the scoping and set up and design of larger projects and participate in accurately collecting and recording seed inventory data using appropriate technology.
