Full-time Salary $93,349 – $103,721 + Super at 11.25%

Why Greening Australia

We are one of Australia’s largest environmental enterprises taking practical action on the land to deliver large scale restoration programs. We bring life to landscapes and restore balance to the natural environment in significant areas across our nation from the Great Barrier Reef all the way to WA.

We believe that people thrive when natures thrives.

In 2018 we set our 2030 vision and impact goals which include the aim to plant half a billion trees by 2030. Nearly 40 years old we are always asking ourselves what the environment needs us to do and most importantly how can achieve our ambitious goals.

A critical part of this journey is our people and our partners.

And we are growing, fast! See our impact here

The Role

The Partnerships Manager will join our energetic and dynamic Greening Australia Foundation team, developing and growing meaningful relationships to help achieve Greening Australia’s strategic 2030 goals.

This role will manage and grow an existing portfolio of relationships including philanthropic and corporate trusts and foundations and some major individual donors.  A great opportunity exists to launch our new Bequest Donor program and take ownership of this. This new program is yours to shape and build.

In addition to your existing portfolio of relationships, the Partnerships Manager will also seek to identify and acquire new donors to grow the portfolio and work with our Foundation team to secure income opportunities in line with the fundraising goals.

Working effectively with internal stakeholders to progress and develop partnerships will be key to the roles’ success.  Specifically, you will work across several internal stakeholder groups to develop tailored proposals, write grants and deliver project updates and reporting, so experience in managing project coordination will be beneficial.

Key activities in this role would include writing impactful grant applications, developing compelling proposals, reporting and partner engagement activity including delivering an engaging donor journey through planned engagement, networking and events – including project site visits.

You will have a passion for working with people and a natural curiosity to seek out matching partner and donor aspirations with Greening Australia’s vision to restore Australian landscapes at scale.  You will have a high level and good track record of demonstrating a high level of integrity and accountability with a focus on achieving your goals through a ‘partner centric’ approach, ensuring that relationships with supporters are meaningful and long-lasting.

This role will be fast-paced, have lots of variety, and will involve engaging with a range of stakeholders and working collaboratively with our dynamic Foundation team to meet our goals.

As an independent organisation that is growing quickly, we highly value input from our people and this shapes our business as we continue towards our 2030 goals. Bringing your ‘can do’ attitude and solutions focussed approach will be essential to your success.

This role is national in focus with donors located throughout Australia and some internationally.
