About you

Your role is a motivated and intuitive Office Administrator with experience in a fast-paced environment and a desire to exceed expectations. You are organised and decisive with an entrepreneurial attitude.

Function and Scope

The Office Administrator is essential in coordinating and supporting the operational, administrative and employee requirements of the hub to deliver a cohesive and effective workplace.

Status

This is a Part time role, 30 hours per week (days negotiable), reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key Position Accountabilities

Key areas of accountability and outcomes include:

  1. Provide local administrative support to the Director, NSW management and operations team. This will include a small amount of time spent between our two Western Sydney sites.
  2. First point of contact for public and staff enquiries.
  3. Central point of contact for organisational/administrative information and delivery.
  4. Assist with the management of internal and external events.
  5. Coordinates the maintenance of office equipment and general facilities maintenance.
  6. Coordinates and manages all PPE, WHS and uniform stocks.
  7. Responsible for fleet management including registrations and insurance.
  8. Assist with the preparation and submission of Commercial Services tenders and proposals.
  9. Organise staff training and development as required.
  10. Assist with HR functions as required.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a relevant field;
  • Demonstrated capability in Project Administration and Office Management;
  • Demonstrated capability in HR administration;
  • Demonstrate appropriate sensitivity and confidentiality when working with personnel information;
  • Well-developed information technology skills and proven ability to effectively use various word processing, databases and other software packages;
  • High level organisational skills including the proven ability to set priorities, manage variable workloads and show initiative, flexibility, good judgment, and discretion; and
  • High level of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as an individual or as a member of a team, together with the ability to work effectively and with minimal supervision.
