Why Greening Australia?
We are the environmental enterprise that thinks bigger than the environment. We started conserving and restoring Australia’s landscapes in 1982 and we haven’t stopped since. At Greening Australia, we work on major programs that bring life to landscapes and restore balance to the natural environment in significant areas across Australia. Through our major programs, we demonstrate conservation on a massive scale, covering millions of hectares of land and protecting thousands of native species.
In 2018 we set our 2030 vision and impact goals which include the aim to plant half a billion trees by 2030. Proudly rooted almost 40 years of history as a national not-for-profit, in 2019, Greening Australia took a new direction re-framing our brand as an environmental enterprise, a critical step in meeting our 2030 goals.
To achieve this we are on a growth trajectory to amplify our brand and growth in our marketing capacity is key to reaching our target audiences and extend our brand reach. Over recent years we have partnered with major brands such as Officeworks, Mastercard and Sukin Skincare and have worked with Triple J radio and the ABC in some major partnership campaigns.
As we continue on our journey as a leading and fast growing environmental enterprise, Greening Australia are seeking a Marketing Officer to reach our target audiences and grow our brand. This role will optimise and schedule content on our social and digital channels including our website, support in setting up advertising and campaigns, monitor metrics and web traffic reporting and support our Digital Marketing Coordinator to deliver our social and wider digital strategy.
This role will support the broader marketing and communications team to meet Greening Australia’s business goals, this will include supporting tasks such as managing external communications enquiries (from our communications mailbox), research, events and shoot coordination.
You will be part of a dynamic team and a growing organisation. This role will be fast-paced, have lots of variety, and will involve engaging with a range of stakeholders, so bringing your ‘can do’ attitude is essential to our success.
