Greening Australia (GA) is a national, action orientated, environmental enterprise with a mission to conserve and restore landscapes at scale through collaborative, science-based and innovative conservation programs, recognised as Australia’s largest environmental enterprise, leading transformation in the sector.
The organisation works collaboratively with a broad range of significant partners to plan, develop and deliver scalable solutions to tackle some of the biggest environmental challenges facing Australia including restoring Australian biodiversity, protecting the Great Barrier Reef and storing carbon. With highly qualified teams in over 20 locations around the country, the organisation is having a measurable and lasting impact on Australia’s unique environment through their programs, services, and partnerships with significant corporations and Traditional Owners.
Due to our growth we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time In-house Legal Counsel (3-4 days per week) to join our team and support our conservation and restoration actions.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the In-house Legal Counsel will work across our programmes to provide legal support and day to day advice across a diverse range of commercial, corporate, compliance, intellectual property and competition law matters including:
