Bid Manager – Commercial Development

Reporting to the Director – Commercial Development, this newly created role works closely with all Programs to secure opportunities that align with the Greening Australia’s strategic direction. The Bid Manager will manage all aspects of a bid from strategy alignment, pre-planning, stakeholder engagement, bid preparation including coordination of technical writing, pricing and document production, to submission.

We are seeking a high calibre individual who will elevate the bid management process to the next level through:

  • Developing the bid management process within Greening Australia
  • Building credibility with internal and external stakeholders
  • Influencing and coordinating activities across multiple functions without direct line control
  • Applying a strong commercial lens to the prioritisation of work pursuit in delivering high quality bids
  • Developing a strong value led, ‘solution sales’ approach to client positioning

Key to success in this role will be strong commercial acumen coupled with the ability to understand environmentally complex products. Professionally you will have a background in bid development, strategic sales and broader business development.
