Production Nurseries - provenance specialists
Greening Australia operates commercial seedbanks and nurseries in several locations in New South Wales. Our Richmond Production Nursery specialises in Cumberland Plain Woodland and associated riverine communities species. The nursery also produces rainforest and Sydney Sandstone species.

Greening Australia seedbanks at Oxley Park and Richmond are mostly stocked with provenance seed from the Cumberland Plain region.

Northern Territory
OUR SERVICES
Our nurseries supply local native plants to the general public, professional landscapers, local councils, other nurseries, landcare groups, mining companies and others carrying out revegetation or native landscaping work. The Darwin nursery has display gardens and landscaping set amongst remnant tropical vegetation, the nursery is the main supplier of native plants in the region. The Katherine and Alice Springs nurseries operate on a part time basis and are key players in their local native vegetation networks.
Following our many years of research into harvesting, storage, processing and germination of native grass species, we have established a seed bank to supply industry, community and government with native grasses suited to a range of soil conditions.

The Greening Australia Nursery is a vibrant community project. Our main roles are to propagate and grow native plants for South-East Queensland, and to provide extensive advice to the community on growing native plants.We have thousands of plants in stock, with 350 species providing a greater variety than ever before. We also grow plants to order for all sorts of projects, whether small or large.

Greening Australia Dry Tropics Nursery - Pimlico, Townsville North Queensland
Our Dry Tropics nursery is a wholesale and retail nursery, which, as its names suggests, specialises in dry tropics native plants. All seed is sourced locally and the nursery propagates hardy, drought tolerant grasses, vines, herbs, shrubs and trees.The nursery provides a comprehensive information service to the local community on managing native vegetation. The nursery is open every Thursday from 12 noon to 4pm and on the first and third Saturday of each month, from 9am to 1pm. You can find the nursery at Pimlico TAFE (rear entrance), Desailly Street, Pimlico.

South Australian Plant Nursery
Greening Australia's native nursery supplies a comprehensive range of native plant species. We specialise in bulk orders and can deliver species to suit every South Australian landscape, from Coastal zones to the Mt Lofty Ranges, and right across regional South Australia.
Our extensive nursery facilities include large heated benches, poly tunnels, shade houses, 'hardening off' areas and netted zones which all provide an ideal environment for plant propagation. Our skilled nursery staff are specialists in innovative propagation techniques with proven success in growing difficult species.

OUR SERVICES
Environmental Services Unit - Seed Management Services
Greening Australia's Environmental Services Unit in Western Australia provides a professional native seed collection, identification and seed supply service. We have a seed storage unit in Northam containing several hundred species of local provenance, native Western Australian species of seed.
Our collectors are highly experienced and fully licensed in all aspects of seed collection and management. The ESU obtains annual permits for access to specific collection locations on Crown land and private properties.
We have industry standard seed processing equipment and facilities for seed cleaning and packaging in Northam. Seed stock lists are available on request.
We have seed testing facilities with key staff having undergone seed testing training at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, England.
